You were stolen.
I cried for a bit.
And then I remade you with a few changes. Better than before.
The End (for now).

That’s it I’m done. You are free to go now.
It was a bit frustrating until I accepted it wasn’t right to try and change you. But I like the end result. I think it works well.
Good luck out there x

Dear Feather
I’ve kept you in the envelope since I got you, now its time to set you free.
You’ve been cramped up in there, your lush greens and deep reds peeking through the plastic window, a flash of colour when you fall from my workbook.
I thought maybe I shouldn’t use you, that I should be conceptual, go beyond, underneath, over, around, but then I realised in doing so I could well be denying your refulgent nature.
I’m not gonna fight you no more. You are what you are and all I can do is give you a platform for the world to see.
I hope I can do you justice.
From me x
PS I found you some feathery friends:
PPS I may have to chop you up sorry.

Refulgent – shining brightly, radiant, gleaming. The word is not nearly as pretty as the meaning but what a word! Lends itself perfectly to jewellery. Doesn’t it??
And a rooster feather (a bit kismet to get this considering my last two brooches used feathers). It’s beautiful. I bet he was too.
It seems to me there’s only thing for it really. Bling. Facets. Big, sparkly, shiny, stand up and take notice jewellery.
At least I think so anyway …
