E-End Point Statement, Tegan Catterall

Penalty For Inappropriate Use

The time has come,

The end is nigh,

I’ve made my piece (Get it?! Piece – Peace.. Brilliant!)

Time to say goodbye.

I’ve played with wool,

I’ve played with hair,

I’ve combined them both

With style and flair.

The end result

Is soft to touch,

Rich in colour

And nice to clutch.

So, farewell Whitireia

It has been fun,

Until next time

Enjoy my pun.

Final Piece – Tegan Catterall

Penalty for Inappropriate Use

Felted Wool, Wig Hair, Cardboard, String, Lettering

Tegan – Midpoint Statement

At the halfway mark in the exchange project I’m still having trouble relating my 2 pieces together. I’ve been experimenting with different techniques regarding the wig including; sewing, knotting, glueing and felting.

Felting so far looks the best and it the least tacky looking so I’m going to delve deeper into that technique

C – Beginning Statement (Tegan Catterall)

Have had a few ideas as to what to do with the wig… absolutely no idea how to relate it to the text though: “Penalty for inappropriate use”

They really dont sit well in relation to each other, time for a brain storm.

Some spontaneous inspiration would be lovely!

A – Starting Point – Materials

A wig… hmmm.. this could either be really successful or a huge failure..
